WWE has cancelled its NXT event scheduled for June 6 at the Manchester Arena following the deadly attack outside an Ariana Grande concert Monday night.

“Out of respect for all those affected by the Manchester tragedy, WWE is cancelling the NXT event … at the Manchester Arena,” WWE said in a statement Friday.

A suicide bomber – identified as Salman Abedi – killed 22 people and injured 59 more when he set off a homemade explosive outside the arena as the pop star’s concert was ending.

“Our Superstars will be in Manchester on June 6 visiting with those affected by the tragedy and WWE is making a donation to the We Love Manchester Emergency Fund.”

The foyer area of the arena is still closed as part of the ongoing police investigation into the terror attack, according to the Manchester Evening News.

“We look forward to returning to the Manchester Arena on Monday, November 6 for Raw and Tuesday, November 7 for SmackDown Live,” the WWE’s statement said.

According to WWE’s website, Bobby Roode, Asuka, Eric Young and Gentleman Jack Gallagher were among the featured Superstars who were scheduled to perform in Manchester.
