Appearing on CNN’s “The Situation Room,” Donald Trump’s tough-talk attorney jumped on the defensive when confronted with the candidate’s dismal polling numbers.
“Says who? Says who?,” Cohen barks at CNN’s political correspondent, Brianna Keilar.
Michael Cohen, a lawyer for the Republican candidate Donald Trump, defends his boss with a foolproof answer: “Says who?”
In a blunt answer, she tells Cohen “who”: “Polls. I just told you, I answered your question.”
Cohen finally jumps past his new catchphrase, and asks, “which polls?”
“…All of them,” Keilar said.
Donald Trump has been down in polls across the board in recent weeks.
Twitter users erupted in laughter with parodies of Cohen’s denialist defense.
Cohen, who works for Trump as his attorney, made headlines last year after the lawyer claimed it was legal to rape your spouse.
