No drinking on the bus.

Two Oklahoma basketball coaches were fired after they used a bus to go buy beer.

A school board member told KFOR two Tishomingo boys basketball coaches were with the team on an out-of-town trip at a basketball camp at Connors State when they went to buy the beer.

When the coaches came into the store, the clerk reported the two to officials at Connor State, KXII reports.

Tishomingo basketball player Kyle Miller said the whole team was disappointed by the actions of the coaches.

“We noticed that the school bus was gone but he had told us to stay in our dorms and so we proceeded to do that and we just didn’t find anything out until the next day,” Miller said.

The team was supposed to stay at Connor State for three nights, but ended up having to leave on the second day. Miller said the team was upset over this because they paid out of pocket to go to the camp.

Once the school caught wind of what the coaches had done, they were fired immediately.

KXII reports that this isn’t the first scandal to happen at the high school this year.

Shelley Duncan, cheerleading coach and wife of the superintendent, was arrested after being accused of having an inappropriate relationship with a 14-year-old boy.
