Miranda Lambert says she’s engaged — but not to whom you’d think.
The country crooner joked that she’d agreed to marry a 6-year-old fan in the audience at her Metlife Stadium performance on Saturday, though it’s going to be a while before they tie the knot.
“I got engaged today,” the singer told the New Jersey crowd. “There’s a little 6-year-old boy somewhere here named Sebastian. He asked me to marry him and I said, ‘Yes, in 25 years.’ “
She then showed off the pink sparkler the young fan had bestowed upon her.
Lambert, 32, detailed the memorable moment even further on Sunday when she posted a photo of the boy down on one knee during a meet-and-greet.
“I said YES! But he has to wait 25 years,” she reiterated in the photo caption. “This sweet boy Sebastian is a little gentleman.”
The proposal may come as a surprise to musician Anderson East, who has been dating the “Over You” artist since last December.

Lambert, who was serving as the opening act for Kenny Chesney, split from fellow country star Blake Shelton after four years of marriage last summer. Shelton is now dating his co-host on “The Voice,” Gwen Stefani.
