It’s official: The Internet’s obsession with highlighting beauty products has reached an all-time high. Instagram users hash tagged #highlightonfleek over 116,000 times so far, inspiring women everywhere to test out a dewy, luminous glow. Both high-end and drugstore brands have been launching countless new products to give your skin a highlight so strong it can be seen from space (kidding, kinda).

And now to no one’s surprise, YouTube beauty vloggers are taking the disco ball inspired look quite literally with the latest viral video challenge. The task: Apply a full-face of makeup, using only highlighting products.

While the rules for this challenge aren’t completely set in stone (some Youtubers used foundation, others used a liquid highlighter instead), it’s still incredibly mesmerizing to watch highlighting taken to the extreme. Below, we compiled some of our favorite videos of people attempting to take their glow to the next level.

Oh, and be sure to check out one brave PeopleStyle staffer test out the insane highlighter challenge this Friday on Facebook Live.
