Being dubbed September’s “Man of Style” by InStyle Magazine may have its perks, but dressing yourself isn’t among them.

Chris Pratt, who was given the title, took to Instagram to celebrate the recognition from the magazine, but was quick to point out the irony behind the magazine’s photo shoot for his cover story.

“Full disclosure,” he captioned an Instagram post, “I did not pick out any of the clothes which is kinda funny for a guy who is called the ‘Man of Style.’”

He continued on to say his style preference included t-shirts “with American flags on them,” but more often than not, he grabs what’s on the top of the pile.

“The people who picked out the clothes have good style,” the 37-year-old actor conceded. “No doubt.”

The “Parks and Rec” alum added they even let him keep the flannel shirt — which he estimated cost about $500 — he sported in one of the pictures for the magazine.

It’s “made out of pajamas,” he said of the gift. “Hopefully this helps them sell $500 worth of magazines to make up for that sweet a– shirt.”
